IM MOO

Still gathering our thoughts from IM MOO.....worked T1 and T2 - a wonderful experience......I will post a report report later !!!!

Phew, that was hard !

Did a 16 miler this morning.......why is it some runs are harder than others? Ran along the River Cam - it was a perfect autumn day. In fact, it was one of the warmest days we have had this year ! Our summer has been truly awful. It has not stopped raining since we arrived hom from Madison !

Oddly enough, turned tv on to watch 'The Tour of Spain'...pouring with rain on the roads, there....F1 Grand Prix qualifying laps in Monza, Italy were cut because, you're guessed it, pouring with rain !

I digress, it was a hard run...couldn't get going and finally settled into some sort of shuffle to get the job done.

Up early tomorrow to ride 85 miles.....watch this space !

Home at last !

We arrived home yesterday from our week in Chicago and Madison. Wonderful time. Signed up for IM MOO in 2009.....wow the queues were long ! I managed to get Gordy out of bed earlier than he would have liked to sign up. Luckily I did.....we got to queue under cover so was nice and dry when it started to rain !

Had a great time volunteering. I was in the change 'tent' in T1 and T2....it was great to be inside the lovely ballroom. Got to see friends and help them change. Madison is certainly a beautiful venue for an IM.

Managed to get a couple of runs in but never made it to swim the course.

Eleven weeks to IMAZ...85 mile ride and 16.5 run between now and Sunday !
